The drama--The name of the people

In the Name of Peopleis just the first of five anti-graft dramasthe Procuratorate's broadcast department has been producing. The center received instructions in 2015 from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, to produce morecorruption-themed films and dramas.

 

The drama, with an ensemble cast led by seasonedveteran actorsLu Yi and Zhang Fengyi, is built around a complex corruption case brought to light by conflicts at a factory in a fictional province.

 

In the Name of Peopleshows a deep reflection on thefight against corruption, such as the complicated relationship between combating corruption and fostering economic development as well as the traditional code of conduct.

 

The fight against corruption is still very difficult and the campaign of building a clean-fingeredParty and government should be firmly pushed forward.
